Penang Hill is one of the famous tourist attractions. It is 735m(2450ft) above sea level. There is a direct bus (204) from KOMTAR bus terminal to Penang Hill Railway Station.
Then you can take the funicular train to the top of the hill. I heard there will be an upgrade project for this train system. A new railway system that will take passengers straight up to the hill will be implemented. So no need to change train halfway in the future.
There is a big landmark "Bukit Bendera" on the top of the hill. Penang Hill is originally called as Flagstaff Hill, Bukit Bendera is the Malay name.
You can view the Georgetown from the top of Penang Hill. The view from the hill makes people feel relax.
